An abstract space reserved for subtlety

The exhibition of female nudes by the academic painter Goran Ćetković was opened in the gallery "Velimir A. Leković" in Bar.

"Dominantly committed to painting individual figures, the author places them in an abstract space, without additional elements, leaving the viewer with the impression of the strength of the figure itself and its position," art historian Aleksandar Čilikov wrote in the catalog accompanying the exhibition.

He adds that Ćetković's artistic oeuvre consists of works of expressionist vocation.

The manager of the gallery, Milun Lutovac, M.Sc., assessed that Ćetković's wife is Prometheus, "as if from a bent bow, muscular mysticism, a woman's back, she breaks the shackles with bold moves of her hair and color."

Goran Ćetković graduated from FLU in Cetinje.
