The exhibition of one of the interesting and provocative Montenegrin contemporary artists, Zoran Živković from Kotor, will be opened tomorrow evening in the Solidarity Gallery in Kotor. Živković does not exhibit too often, but each of his exhibitions is a true event for art lovers.

"The exhibition is composed of a little over 30 paintings, acrylic on canvas. The works were created in the last half year, as a result (partly unexpected for me) of a long process of working out sketches of various anti-fascist heritage and symbols, which, much deeper than I believed, were incorporated into the world of ideas and the environment with which I grew up. The exhibition was initially supposed to be called "Bright moments", as a free or slightly more poetic translation of the legal institute "Lucida Intervalla". It is a Latin name used as a term for rare states of pure, enlightened consciousness within a long period of disturbance caused by various causes. I believe that, in each of us (but also in the historical and social sense), things generally move cyclically with rare moments that represent important, valuable steps forward and are the basis of our joy and pride. When working, I wanted the images to have a pulsating, latent vitality and to be free of anything that could be considered superfluous. In the end, it's not even important what I wanted, what's important is what happened in those pictures", says the artist before the Kotor exhibition for ART Vijesti.
