The National Library of Montenegro "Đurđe Crnojević" will once again mark the World Book and Copyright Day on April 23rd - with a campaign and program under the slogan "A Book Night's Dream".

As a central event, the National Library will organize an exhibition of books dedicated to William Shakespeare on April 23 at 20 p.m. It is about the display of selected editions of Shakespeare's works and works about Shakespeare in various languages, which are kept in the holdings of the National Library.

Actors Ana Vučković and Petar Novaković will perform an excerpt from Shakespeare's comedy "A Midsummer Night's Dream". The exhibition will be opened by the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Montenegro, Jan Viting.

In order to popularize books, reading and libraries, all users of the National Library on that day will be able to join for free, while visitors will receive books from the publishing production of the National Library as a gift. This year too, the National Library will present its latest editions to all Montenegrin public libraries.

Since the National Library of Montenegro "Đurđe Crnojević" has joined the Night of the Book campaign, which is being held at the national level for the first time in Montenegro this year, on April 23 the doors of the Library will be open for all book lovers until 22 pm.
