The Ministry of Justice gave consent to issue a warrant for Assad

The Ministry of Justice approved the issuance of an international warrant for Joseph Assad.

"The Ministry of Justice of Montenegro has given its consent to issue an international warrant for Joseph Asad, in order to conduct criminal proceedings according to the order of the investigation of the Special State Prosecutor's Office for the criminal offenses of creating a criminal organization and terrorism in an attempt by aiding and abetting," the Ministry of Justice announced.

The Ministry said that, within the framework of international legal assistance procedures, there will be interstate communication with the competent authorities of the USA, as well as other states, members of Interpol, which will act according to the issued warrant.

"At this stage of the procedure, we cannot provide information about possible extradition, since certain conditions must be met beforehand, including the deprivation of liberty of the wanted person," the statement concluded.
