Seventeen-year-old twin brothers BM and MM and their one-year-old friend Pavle Mirotić claim that three nights ago, Nenad Asanović, who is two decades older than them, beat them for no reason.
Because of this, they submitted a report to the police, in which they described what happened on the evening of January 13 at the football stadium in Donji Kokoti.
However, "Vijesti" was told by the Police Administration that Asanović (39) and his father Nikola (68) came to the Podgorica Security Center on January 14, 2014 at around 01.55:XNUMX a.m. and reported that minors and Miranović had attacked them.
Two hours later, around 03.20:XNUMX a.m., the father of the two seventeen-year-olds, Srđan Miranović, did the same, who filed a counter-report - stating that the Asanovićs physically attacked his sons and Mirotic and threatened them.
The incident in Kokoti was caused by wooden pallets ordered by young men who were having a barbecue.
However, there are two versions of the event. According to the version of Srđan Miranović, his sons and Mirotic, three young men were having a barbecue with their friends, when the elder Asanović allegedly came to ask them for the pallets on which the youth were sitting.
Mirotic claims that Nikola Asanović came up to them, said that they were his son Nenad's pallets, and then allegedly started slapping and spitting on them.
"He spat in M.'s face and slapped him. He started to fight with us, and then I tried to take him away, because he is an old man of about 70 years old. Then his son Nenad appeared. First he started slapping us and then hitting us with a wooden stick. He hit MM on the left arm and neck with a pole, and BM slapped and hit me on the left arm and neck, and me on the left arm," Mirotic said, adding that the younger Asanović threatened to "kill them all."
"He said he was going home to get a gun, that he was going to kill us all, he cursed and insulted us," he said.
Nenad Asanović's version is completely different. He denied the statements of Miranović and Mirotic, claiming what he stated in the report submitted to the police - that they attacked his father.
The police responded that further conflict between Asanović and the three young men was prevented by Police Administration officer Predrag Asanović.
"I went there and while I was approaching, considering that the fire was burning, I saw some guys arguing with my father and slapping him. My father is 68 years old and has heart disease and diabetes," he said.
He added that the twins and Mirotic were "playing" with his father.
"I pushed them away from my father, who was in a serious condition. At that moment, I tripped, fell, and one of the three kicked me in the head. Then my brother came, separated the crowd and sent us all home", said Asanović.
Srđan Miranović said that the Asanovićs told the police that his sons were "playing with Nikola", but that there are witnesses who will say what his sons are like.
He pointed out that Nikola's other son was there, but did not react.
The police responded that further conflict between Asanović and the three young men was prevented by Police Administration officer Predrag Asanović.
"Informations on the circumstances of the event have been collected. The officials of CB Podgorica informed about the event the deputy of the basic state prosecutor in Podgorica, who stated that in this particular case there are no elements of a criminal offense that can be prosecuted ex officio. After it is determined whether the actions of the actors of the mentioned event have elements of misdemeanor responsibility, appropriate misdemeanor charges will eventually be filed against them to the competent Regional Authority for Misdemeanors", the UP replied.
"They kept us in KC on purpose"
The father of the XNUMX-year-old brothers, Srđan Miranović, claims that after he brought his sons and Mirotic to the emergency center, they were deliberately detained so that the Asanovićs could "gain time".
The Director of the Emergency Center, Dr. Vladimir Dobričanin, provided answers to "Vijesta" in which it is written that the young men were examined at 22.50:XNUMX p.m. that evening, and the Asanovićs almost an hour later. Three young men were examined by an on-call surgeon and an on-call orthopedist.
"MB was diagnosed with abrasions in the area of the neck region, a bruise in the left thigh region, and a bruise in the left elbow region. MM bruise in the area of the neck region, suspicious laceration of the surgical neck of the left upper arm. PM was diagnosed with a contusion of the left elbow region," says the answers.
The elder Asanović, who was examined by the on-call surgeon and internist at 23.40:XNUMX p.m., and who, according to answers from the UC, survived a heart attack eight years ago and suffers from diabetes, was diagnosed with a stress reaction.
"AN was examined by the duty surgeon at 23.40:XNUMX p.m. MSCT of the cranium and endocranium was performed and observation was ordered in UC. A bruise was diagnosed in the area of the head. Necessary laboratory analyzes and diagnostic tests were performed on all patients," said Dr. Dobričanin.
In his answers, he points out that by looking at the available medical documentation, it can be concluded that there is no indication that any findings are missing.
"Immediately after the arrival of the patients, members of the MUP were informed and were present in the UC during the entire examination and observation. On that day, 271 patients were examined in UC, of which 18 were kept for further hospital treatment, and 14 patients were examined for violence and 4 with injuries from traffic accidents. Keeping patients in the UC is solely a consequence of the indicated medical monitoring of patients, regular and additional diagnostic tests, but also the triage system when patients with more serious illnesses or injuries always have priority over others, regardless of who came to the UC first," he said.
