"Circles" by Srdan Golubović for the end of the Mojkovac film autumn

Last night, the 38th Mojkovac film autumn festival of actors of the same dialect ended with the screening of the film "Circles" by Srdan Golubović and the presentation of awards.

According to the decision of the three-member jury, which was presided over by actor Slobodan Marunović, the award for the best male role equally went to Bogdan Diklić for his role in the film Defense and Protection by Bob Jelčić and Tihomir Stanić for his role in the movie Counterfeit, by Goran Paskaljević. Explaining its decision, the jury emphasized that "Diklić created an anthology role in South Slavic cinematography in the role of Slavko, with reduced acting means in the veristic manner of a master of acting."

The reason for sharing the award with him is, according to the jury, that "Stanić, with his charisma and acting charm that captivates in a humorous and humanly warm way, built a metaphor for our lives through the character of a forger, a teacher, a father and a benevolent clumsy friend."

The best female role in the films shown at the Mojkovac film festival was achieved by Hristini Popović-Mijin for her role in the film Circles, and her acting, according to the jury, is characterized by "strong emotion when interpreting a tragic character, through sacrifice, bravely feminine, protective and motherly".

Olga Petrović, who portrays the character of a refugee in the film "When a new day dawns", and Momčil Picurić, who plays a disappointed and incorrigible communist in the film "Forger", received awards for the best episodic roles.

In the explanation, it is written that the director "selflessly invested his entire human, pedagogical and creative potential in the improvement of Montenegrin cinema".

"Baletić, acting as a professor and pedagogue, director of the Montenegrin Cinematheque, excellent director of several cult films, through his aesthetic, moral and civic view of Montenegro, with his experience and knowledge, unobtrusively and essentially paved the way for the generation of young creators who are coming and heralding better days of Montenegrin film," said Council President Miladin Brko Mitrović.
