The concert, which marked the end of this year's Music Program of the Grad Theater festival, brought the Budva audience a meeting with excellent Montenegrin musicians - guitarists Srđan Bulatović and Darko Nikčević, who were "accompanied" by Dragoljub Đuričić, the most popular drummer in the region and in this part of Europe.

On the crowded stage of the terrace between the churches, the performance of old, traditional Montenegrin songs "Under the mountain", "Dunja", "Vrela", "Još ne sviće", "Voda na volove", "Matija", "Igra", "Dimitrije", "Poscoci", "Poljem se vija", in their new arrangement and arrangement, were followed by ovations from the audience.

"Grad Theater is something really serious and big for me in my career, from the time of its beginnings, when I collaborated with KPGT: Ljubiša Ristic, Dušan Jovanović, Slobodan Šnajder, Sonja Vukićević... They were phenomenal performances, and still today I remember when I performed the drum and voice version in 'Waiting for Godo' with the great Ljubo Tadić. It was also there in 1997, when I opened the Grad Theater with a big concert at the Citadel, together with actress Katarina Žutić. In any case, I'm surprised that it's been so many years since I've been here at Gradu Teatr", commented Dragoljub Đuričić after the concert, who also received a standing ovation at the Budva festival for the music in the ballet "Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" of the National Theater from Belgrade.

Guitarist Srđan Bulatović, as he stated, is also very attached to the festival in Budva.

"I started my career at the Grad Teatar festival, at a time when important world musicians gave concerts there. Now, here, together with Darko Nikčević, I have dared to write and engage in authorship, which is inspired by our traditional music, and I am extremely proud of it," said Bulatović.

According to Darko Nikčević, there is no reason for compositions based on Spanish and Latin American folklore to be more successful than ours.

"With us, as well as with them, we are talking about music and compositions that lasted for centuries, that were passed down from generation to generation, and remained a kind of cultural record of a people and a country. "We don't have any worse music than the one that has been the most popular in the world for decades, and we have a reason to cherish it," said Nikčević.
