Nikola Mišović (21), a resident of Novalja, told "Vijesta" that he was beaten by Ivan Nikolić (35), a resident of Nikšić, who is suspected of injuring two fellow citizens with a knife, at around four in the morning on the ferry in Lepetani.
Mišović was a witness to an almost tragic event, which happened at the beginning of February this year, when Nikolić stabbed former OFK Igalo footballer Vladimir Dželetović (30) and his friend Goran Kosać (21) with a knife in a fight in front of the famous disco "Kaza" in Igalo.
Mišović's friend Slavko Baković (21) was also slightly injured in the incident that happened yesterday morning on the ferry.
"I was with another Slavko at the Trokadero disco, where Ivan Nikolić and his friend Bojan Mrvošević (31) were also present. At one point, a short discussion started between us. When we started to go home, Nikolić and Mrvošević intercepted us in the Seljanovo settlement in Tivat," said Mišović. He added that they managed to escape from them by car to the ferry in Lepetani.
"We got on the ferry, but Nikolić and Mrvošević managed to get on after us. They got out of the car and headed towards us, they started hitting us with their fists, at one point I lost consciousness. Because of the blows, I ended up in the hospital," Mišović told "Vijesta" yesterday while he was recovering at the General Hospital in Meljini.
The interlocutor of "Vijesti" suffered a concussion and eye and nose injuries in the fight and, as he says, will be kept for treatment for another two or three days.
His friend Baković was released yesterday for home treatment, after receiving help at the hospital in Meljine.
The process against Nikolić is ongoing
In the High Court in Podgorica, the trial against Nikolić, who is accused of attempted murder in an incident in February in front of the "Kaza" discotheque, is ongoing. Mišović previously testified about that event.
"I assume that Nikolić recognized me from the testimony and that this is the motive for the attack," Mišović said.
According to the unofficial information at the time, Nikolić started the quarrel at "Kaza", who after a short argument pulled out a knife and stabbed Dželetović in the neck, and then Kosać.
He received two stab wounds in the chest area, one of which was only a few millimeters from the heart, and his aorta was injured, so he survived only by sheer luck.
Accused Nikolić, according to the same information, did not answer the prosecutor's questions at that time.
He allegedly denied to the police that he started the fight.
