Jamaica's Usain Bolt says that the upcoming meeting in Paris will help him to get in shape for the World Championships in Moscow at the end of August.
"Before the world championships in Moscow, I want to achieve some good results, that is, to time my form for the start of the championship," said Bolt, who will run at the meeting in Paris on Saturday in the 200 meters.
The Olympic champion and world record holder in the sprint will be joined by his compatriots Warren Weir, Nickel Ashmed and Jason Young, along with the former European champion at 200 meters from France, Christophe Lemaitre.
All five sprinters have times under 20 seconds.
Bolt holds the world record for 200 meters with a time of 19,19 seconds, and this season he achieved 19,79 seconds at the Bislet Games in Oslo on June 13.
The leading result in the world this season is the American Tyson Gay, who ran 23 seconds at the American qualifiers for the World Cup on June 19,74.
