The big test was in front of the practically newly formed management of the Wrestling Federation of Montenegro. The European Federation entrusted them with a high-ranking competition, many people from the Organizing Committee met such a complicated organization for the first time, according to the new rules, but according to the assessment of the representatives and delegations of all 38 countries that participated - the exam was passed with an excellent grade.
The first man of CELE (European Wrestling Association), Bulgarian Ceno Cenov is delighted with the competition and how it went.
"When something is new, there are doubts. But, after six days, a handful of top fights, the evaluation of everyone from our European wrestling house is excellent. Everything was in its place. From accommodation, to conditions, competitors, organizers. You have a good starting point the basis for significantly larger and more complex projects, and be sure that we are counting on you for larger competitions as well," Cenov told "Vijesti".
The Russians dominated both in the freestyle and in the Greco-Roman style. They collected the largest number of medals in all categories, and were first in the team. The Azerbaijanis remained behind them.
