The criminal panel of judge Ratko Ćupić, in a repeated trial in the Podgorica High Court, sentenced the three defendants to 32 years in prison for the murder of Belgrader Marko P. Vesnić, known as Buco, the leader of the "deli" fans, and the wounding of his godfather, Ivan Marković.
In an earlier trial, they were sentenced to 48 years, or 16 years each.
Duško N. Roganović from Herceg Novi was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while his uncle Vladimir M. Roganović and Dražen Čađenović were sentenced to 10 years in prison each because they committed the crime of "aggravated murder" as co-perpetrators.
In the first-instance verdict, it is stated that on July 24, 2009, around 04:XNUMX, the brothers Roganović and Čađenović wounded Vesnić with pistol shots, and then injured him with a knife, near the Youth Park in Igalo.
After the judge announced the verdict, relatives and friends left the High Court courtroom in protest.
Goran Vlaović, accused of "assisting the perpetrator after the crime" was sentenced to one year in prison, just like the previous verdict.
The verdict states that after Vesnić left the "Casa" cafe-bar and sat down on a bench in a nearby park, the defendants approached him armed with a gun and a knife.
Duško fired several shots from a pistol at Vesnić. After that, Vladimir Roganović and Čađenović, one of them stabbed Vesnić in the body with a knife, while one of them prevented him from defending himself.
In explaining the verdict, Judge Ćupić referred to the eyewitnesses to the murder of Bećir Bećiraj and Branko Đurđević, employees of the Public Utility Company in Herceg Novi, who saw the guy who shot and then recognized him during identification.
