Nataša Drešić, an academic artist from Bar, is not taking a break this summer.
At the just ended large international exhibition of graphics in the Chinese city of Ningbo, she was the only representative of Montenegro among a total of 32 artists from 16 European countries and China.
"I was recommended to participate in this exhibition "16+1 Belt And Road China & CEEC Print Exhibition" by the representative of Macedonia Slavica Janešileva - Bačvarska, a professor at the Academy in Skopje. In Bar, I am now preparing the first School of Graphics within the accompanying program of the XXXI Bar Yearbook. Participation is free and all age groups can register until July 16 from when. School lasts until July 29. The final exhibition of the students' works will be held in the Church of Saint Veneranda in the Old Town," Drešić told "Vijesta".
Already at the beginning of August, Drešić is traveling to Novi Sad, where her solo exhibition will be opened in the Art Gallery of the Cultural Center.
Nataša completed her basic and specialist studies at the graphic department of the FLU in Cetinje in the class of prof. MA Anke Burić in 2016. Among other recognitions, she was the recipient of the CANU scholarship for encouraging the artistic youth of Montenegro for 2017, when she became a member of the ULUCG. She currently works as an art teacher at the "Stefan Mitrov Ljubiša" elementary school in Budva, and she has exhibited independently in Bar, Podgorica and Cetinje.
