Furtula celebrated in Slovenska Bistrica

Danijel Furtula continues with excellent results.

The representative of Montenegro celebrated in the discus throw with a shot of 61,86 meters in Slovenska Bistrica, where the 13th international athletics was held under the auspices of the Athletics Association of Slovenia, the IAAF and the European Athletics Federation.

Second place in the discus throw went to local competitor Tadej Hribar with a result of 51,26 meters.

"The meeting started an hour late, due to the heavy rain that fell throughout the competition, which called into question the competition in the throwing and jumping disciplines. The result achieved by Furula in the discus throw is excellent, considering the conditions. The weather spoiled the plans for an even better result. Immediately after this competition, Furtula joins the COK expedition for the 15th Games of Small European Countries in Luxembourg, where he will compete in the discus and shot put," said Danilo Krtinić, coach of our national team.

By the way, over 150 athletes from Italy, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Azerbaijan took part in the meeting.
