The photo exhibition "Lived-Dreamed" by Montenegrin photographer Dejan Kalezić will be opened in the Miasto-Ogrodow gallery in Katowice, Poland, tonight at 18 p.m.
The author will present eight works in black and white technique in which, through the form of landscapes, he presents dreams for which he has a dilemma as to whether they were experienced or just dreamed, and with suggestive names he tries to influence the observers that each of them creates their own experience.
In addition to Kalezić, four other authors from Serbia and Croatia will participate in the exhibition, which is open until the second of September, organized by the Balkan Electrique festival.
Dejan Kalezić was born in Nikšić in 1970, and lives and works as a freelance photographer in Podgorica. He has been involved in photography for more than 20 years, and during that time he exhibited independently in Slovenia, Belgium, Serbia, France, Poland and Montenegro, and participated in a large number of collective exhibitions in the country and abroad. Since 2005, he has been organizing the School of Photography, which has been completed by a large number of photography enthusiasts. He is the founder of the NGO "PhotoCG" from Podgorica, which deals with the promotion of photography as well as raising its importance in all spheres of society.
He is the organizer of numerous events that promote and popularize photography, and the most important event is the "Days of Photography", which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.
