William Shakespeare (1564-1616), one of the greatest playwrights and poets of Elizabethan England. He is considered one of the most talented writers of all time. He wrote 36 plays, 154 sonnets and 2 narrative poems. Of these, the most famous works are: King Lear, Othello, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth.

Compared to other contemporaries, Shakespeare's education was not great. It is believed that he acquired basic knowledge in the local school, where there were good humanities teachers, but he had to leave school to help his father in his work.
He was highly regarded as a playwright, founder and member of the best theater group in London and co-owner of a theater that gave performances every day except Sundays.

He died in Stratford at the age of 53, and was buried in the church of St. three, near the altar. A memorial bust was placed above the grave with the Latin inscription "By wisdom Nestor; by genius Socrates; by the art of Virgil. The earth covers, the people mourn, and Olympus has him".
