An independent exhibition of paintings by the famous Bar academic artist Muharem Muratović will be opened in the gallery of JU Museums and Galleries of Podgorica (Modern Gallery) tonight at 20 p.m.

For the first presentation to the Podgorica art audience after 2008, Muratović prepared 27 large and medium-sized paintings made with a combined technique.

The focus of this cycle, created in the previous year, is the oneiric beauty of a Mediterranean woman, and the curiosity of the installation is a diptych made on the canvas of a Brazilian coffee sack from the middle of the last century. Muratović, whose paintings adorn private collections throughout Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia, has just celebrated 45 years of artistic creativity, and after Podgorica, this year he will present himself in a large exhibition in September in Rome at the "Vittoria" gallery in the famous Via Margutta. The exhibition in the Modern Gallery in Podgorica is on display until August 20.
