The judge for the investigation of the High Court in Bijelo Polje, Vanja Rakonjac, today ordered Beranci Marko Zekić and Radomir Đukić to be detained for up to 30 days, for the attempted murder of fellow citizen Edin Šuntić on June 10 of this year.
They told the Prosecutor's Office yesterday that they had nothing to do with the shooting of Šuntić, denying that they had committed the criminal offense they are charged with.
In addition to attempted murder, Zekić is charged with the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosive materials, and no one was injured in that incident.
The Police Administration previously said that during the apprehension, Zekić tried to run away when he was informed that he would be arrested, but the police caught up with him and arrested him.
"It is suspected that MZ and R.Đ, on June 10.06.2018, 20,10 at around XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., committed the criminal acts they are charged with in the manner that they were on a motorcycle-scooter driven by R in Polimska Street in Berane .Đ., while MZ was behind him as a companion, first passed by the "VW Golf V" vehicle that was parked in front of the bakery, and then turned around and approached from the same direction this vehicle in which E.Š. was and then tried to kill him. It is suspected that they tried to kill him in such a way that MZ fired several shots from his pistol in the direction of E.Š's vehicle, while R.Đ. was driving the scooter. E.Š. vehicle and turned right into another street, while these two persons, it is suspected, followed him on a scooter and were still trying to kill him. At one point, E.Š. managed to escape from them, after which he reported the incident to CB Berane," they said are from the Police Administration.
The police also said that during the arrest, certain things were taken from Zekić, which will be the subject of an expert examination.
