At the border crossing Sukobin - Murićani, they discovered 15 kilograms of the intoxicating drug skunk, which is the second seized skunk at that border crossing in the last 24 hours.
The drug was found by officers of the Customs Administration, in cooperation with members of the Police Administration.
The drugs were hidden in a "Passat", with Albanian plates, driven by an Albanian citizen MM (25) from Kruja.
As a passenger in the vehicle there was also an Albanian citizen of NC (57) from Kruja.
"Police and customs officers inspected the vehicle in a specially made bunker in the roof of the vehicle and found 20 PVC packages containing about 20 kilograms of dry plant material, which is assumed to be the narcotic drug skunk," the Police Administration announced.
It is added that in accordance with the protocol on the operation of the border crossing Sukobin - Murićani, the persons, the vehicle and the drugs were handed over to the officers of the police of the Republic of Albania.
