Good news for the Budva Riviera - almost two weeks after injuring his right shoulder, Milan Marković trained yesterday, not with the ball, but in the gym.
"The shoulder is excellent, luckily nothing was hurt. I took the longeta off two days after the injury, and after four days I was able to do everything with it. I will join the team next week," Marković, captain of Budvan, told "Vijesta".
As a reminder, Marković was injured on October 25, in the match of the first round of the Champions League between Budvanska Riviera and Russian Lokomotiv.
After the tie, with the score 9:8 for the visitors in the third set, Marković's right shoulder popped out. The first attempts by Riviera's medical team to put his shoulder back in position were unsuccessful.
Therefore, Marković had to go to Risan hospital, where, after the first failed attempts, due to muscle stiffness, it was necessary to perform the intervention under total anesthesia, when doctor Dabović managed to return the shoulder to its position.
The first forecasts were that he would take a break for a month, and Marković already skipped the away game against the Czech Jihostroj, and he will not be in the team for the away match against Berlin, which will be played on November 13.
"After that team I will join the team. I will need 14 days to work hard in the gym, and then maybe I will be in the team for the match against Berlin (November 21), where I should be 70 percent ready to play, while to be one hundred percent ready for the last two matches," added Marković.
