The artist Marina Abramović thanked for the "Sava Šumanović" award for fine arts for 2012, stating that she could not accept it because of the participation of Slavko Timotijević in the jury, with whom she has a similar problem as Dragoljub-Raša Todosijević, who recently returned "Politikina ” award for 2009.

"Given that I am familiar with the problems surrounding the 'Politikina' award to Raša Todosijević, I also have similar problems with Slavko Timotijević regarding the return of my photograph, which I have not received even to this day," stated Marina Abramović in a letter to the Bel Art Gallery in Novi Sad. which was forwarded and portal SEEcult.
Marina Abramović pointed out that she supports the position of Raša Todosijević and believes that "the reasons of Slavko Timotijević, who presided over the jury of the Politika award for 2009, equally awarded to Todosijević and Marija Dragojlović, should be seriously examined."
"I would like to take this opportunity to personally appeal to you to ask Slavko Timotijević to return the photograph that I lent him for the exhibition six years ago. As for the 'Sava Šumanović' award, under the stated circumstances, unfortunately, I cannot accept it", said Marina Abramović in a letter to the editor of the Bel Art Gallery, Vesna Latinović.
