The Day of the Montenegrin National Theater was celebrated on Thursday, November 1, and at the center of the solemn ceremony was the awarding of the Grand Prize of the CNP to Dragica Tomas, as well as annual awards to the members and associates of the CNP.

The decision on the Grand Prize of the Montenegrin National Theatre, which was presented to the champion and honorary member of the CNP Dragica Tomas, was made by the Council of the CNP, which worked in the composition of: writer Andrej Nikolaidis, drama artist Žaklina Oštir, theater director Petar Pejaković, painter and scenographer Srđan Vukčević and theater expert Sreten Perović, president of the Council.

Rewards for members and associates

The annual CNP awards, which are given to CNP members and collaborators, both for high artistic results and for exceptional results achieved in technical, organizational and administrative practice (in all segments of the production), were given to actor Dušan Kovačević, for the roles in the plays "Konte Zanović", "Eggs" and "Kveč", actress Žaklina Oštir for roles in the plays "Konte Zanović" and "Eggs" and actor Mišo Obradović for roles in the plays "Lexicon of YU Mythology" and "A Good Death".

Annual awards were also given to producer Andrijana Maliković, video operator Goran Brnović, decorator Miloš Novaković, administrative officer Ivana Matović and security worker Miško Caušević.

The award for contemporary domestic dramatic text at the CNP Competition went to the drama "Kalina proces" under the code Menard 2, authored by Vasko Raičević.

The Montenegrin National Theater awarded a certificate of appreciation for the year 2012 to the British Council for the implementation of the educational program "Audience Development".
