Months of protests over the entrance fee to the Lovćen National Park culminated yesterday in a physical confrontation between locals and workers of that national park.
According to unofficial information, the locals also came to the ramp on several occasions yesterday to protest, and around 11:XNUMX two locals started insulting the VK worker.
One of them, ZL, then shot a stone worker, and after hitting him in the leg, a fight started.
The interlocutor of "Vijesti" claims that ZL attacked the same worker on the ramp for the third time, as well as that he had previously threatened him with a gun.
"Yesterday they came and first started spitting and then insulting VK. After that ZL threw stones at the workers, and then they had a fight. VK begged him to leave him alone, but he didn't 'hear' that. Someone called the Cetinje police, who came and took both of them to the Cetinje police station to take statements from them," said the "Vijesti" interlocutor.
According to information from "Vijesti", the actors of the fight were released home after the hearing.

The Cetinje police confirmed to "Vijesta" that yesterday at the entrance to the NP Lovćen there was a fight between locals and a worker. They explained that both the worker and ZL were injured in the fight.

The locals of Njeguša, Bajica and Bjeloša, who own 64 percent of the land in the Lovćen National Park, demand from the management of the National Parks of Montenegro to cancel the entrance fee for all property owners within the Lovćen National Park, to reduce the entrance fee for tourists and visitors to a minimum. , as well as to allow the locals, as well as the local administration of the capital, to see how the money earned from those tickets is spent.
They also asked NP Lovćen to completely remove the toll booths, which are located at the entrance to the park.

After submitting two initiatives for the evaluation of constitutionality and legality and the decision of the Traffic Directorate on the removal of checkpoints on the Cetinje-Lovćen regional road, the NPCG filed an appeal to the second instance authority, so the execution of the decision was postponed.
The last initiative of the locals is towards the State Roads Inspection, which issued a decision to remove the checkpoint and the traffic sign.
"From the beginning, I repeat and appeal that everyone, both locals and supervisors, refrain from conflict and wait for the decision of the competent authorities. If NPCG does not have the right to charge entrance fees, we will not do it."
NPCG claims that the inspection did not carry out supervision, nor did it offer the company a solution for signature.
Although the decision was made that the residents of Cetinje, Kolašin, Mojkovac and Žabljak pay an entrance fee of five euros annually, an even more liberal approach was requested from the Municipality.

He repeated that the workers at the toll booths work for months in impossible conditions, that their safety is threatened and that they suffer the anger of the locals every day.
