Judge Željka Jovović requested from the mobile operator the information in whose name the phone card was registered that Ivan Bušković, accused of attacking "Vijesti" journalist Olivera Lakić, handed over to the prosecutor, in order to determine whether Bušković used any other card during the disputed period , considering that he destroyed his mobile phone immediately before the arrest.
The judge also asked the mobile operators for information on whether another card was registered in Bušković's name, and if there is, a listing of that card from March 15st to March XNUMXth.
Bušković, when asked by the court whose registered card he handed over to the prosecutor, said that he did not know, but that his girlfriend Maja Durković gave him that card, and he destroyed the phone, according to him, because it was of no use.
"I took out the card and threw that phone away, I think it costs one euro, my friend gave it to me," said Bušković.
When asked by the judge if he knew the number 069 400333, Bušković said that he gave that card to another, primarily because he could not remember which one, so that he "remembered" at the insistence of the judge.
"One message was exchanged between that number and yours on March 12, according to the expert's report," the judge stated.
He was communicating, but he couldn't remember with whom
"It is true that I communicated with the person who is now using the card, but I do not know who he is," said Bušković.
When asked by the judge to explain how he knew he communicated, but did not know with whom, Bušković said that Besim Fetić was a friend with whom he had exchanged messages.
The court rejected the proposal to hear witnesses proposed by the defendant's defense, and accepted the proposal to request information from the Forensic Center in Danilovgrad as to whether DNA analyzes were performed from the defendant's wardrobe, or other DNA analyses, as argued by Bušković's defense attorney, attorney Darko Hajduković.
The trial continues on July 17.
