Officers of the Podgorica Regional Unit - Property Crime Branch arrested SR (31) from Podgorica, on suspicion of having committed two crimes of aggravated theft at the beginning of May 2012 - the Police Directorate announced.
After receiving a report about the theft of the property of a woman from Podgorica and the company Railway Infrastructure of Montenegro, the police identified SR as the perpetrator.
It is suspected that SR stole about 700 iron poles from the vineyard and from the house on the property, which he broke into, several pieces of tools. It is suspected that SR then sold the alienated items to the scrap yard.
He suspects that SR, to the detriment of the "Railway Infrastructure of Montenegro", committed theft by stealing 70 weights for the automatic tensioning of the catenary from a section of the Podgorica-Nikšić railway.
It is suspected that he sold the weights at the same waste of secondary raw materials, and spent the money in both cases.
