The collection of poetry "Words and words", by the vice-president of the New Serbian Democracy, Goran Danilović, was promoted in the City Bookstore in Podgorica on May 15.
Danilović told "Vijesta" that he was fascinated by creation from an early age, and that this collection of songs was an obligation to his friends, his closest, but also to himself.
"We all believe that this should have been done, I have passed 40 years, so if maturity has not come now, it never will. Everything that has happened to me so far as a person has been my inspiration for my songs. I am someone who I was looking for my own way, I'm looking for that way in politics as well as in poetry by reading it.
"In art of any kind, time should be allowed to pass"
I searched for my path by studying philosophy, I search for it by reading literature, as well as by meeting friends. I owed these 40 dashes, ie. songs that I write down in the old-fashioned way, but checked, listening to my inner feeling and believing that I won't make a mistake," said Danilović.
"What I had to say, I wrote"
He leaves the poetry to the readers and their judgement, without wanting to characterize it, because as he said, that would mean that he wrote in vain.
"Basically, it would be good to wait a bit before writing it down"
"I wrote what I had to say in my songs, and if I were to clarify it, I would spoil something. In art of any kind, you should let time pass, if you conclude too soon, then it can be a wrong conclusion," Danilović believes. .
In his opinion, today it is easier to write than to read, so many resorted to the idea that it is better to write before reading, because of this "we have problems with hyperproduction, which as a rule is not good and of good quality".
"Basically, it would be good to wait a bit before we write it down, and I hope I waited enough," said Danilović.
Poems written as an apostrophe
Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić, Goran Radonjić, said that Danilović's poems were written as an apostrophe, that is, a stylistic figure in which the author addresses someone or something absent or inanimate, as if alive.
"In Danilović's poetry, we encounter the rustling, small, isolated core of the world," Vuković said.
"In this collection, the poet establishes a dialogue with the world, addresses people, beings, things. Naming in this poetry is also determined as the meaning of phenomena. In this context, I would highlight two moments, the first is to whom the poet addresses, and the second is how they are seen those phenomena that the poet addresses," said Radonjić.
The editor of the collection, Bećir Vuković, said that he read Danilović's poems in several ways.
"In Danilović's poetry, we encounter the rustling, small, isolated core of the world," said Vuković.
The promotion of the "Words and Words" collection was attended by a large number of personalities from public and political life.
The book was published by the publishing houses "Nova knjiga" from Podgorica and "Štampar Makarije" from Belgrade.
