The Poet in Pajamas

The program of the "Divine Worlds of Salvador Dali" event, April 21 - June 1, continued the night before last with the performance of the Montenegrin poet Jelena Nelević in the second program called "Rhino in Hell".

In an unconventional way, the poet presented her view of Salvador Dali's art in a mini-performance, which included parts from Breton's manifesto of surrealism from 1924, then from the book "I am a genius" by Salvador Dali, and the poetry of Dali's contemporaries such as Breton, Eliard, Préver, Aragon...

Nelević then "realized" that perhaps it would be best to write a song based on the rules from Breton's Manifesto, and last night, as part of the "Rhino in Hell" program, a new song by this author was created.

With an interesting program and designing an evening outside the usual concept of presenting artists on a given topic, Nelević indicated the possibility of a different way of communicating with form and the audience, that is, a way that leaves an impression.

The next program within the exhibition "The Divine Worlds of Salvador Dali" will be organized on May 12, and on that occasion the Alternative Theater Active Company (ATAK) will be presented.

The exhibition of Salvador Dali's graphic works from the two works "Biblia Sacra" and "Divine Comedy" is accompanied by thematic evenings designed by Montenegrin artists of various profiles.
