A recent study published in the American edition of "Cosmopolitan" shows that it is quite normal that men are not always in the mood for sex and explains that even men who are obsessed with sex have phases when they are not up to it.
Namely, the results of the mentioned research show that despite the fact that men think about sex about 19 times a day, they don't want to practice it every time.
"Men derive their sexual confidence from successful careers and financial security. If the situation in one of these areas does not go according to plan, it is possible that the last thing on their mind is sex," explains the well-known sex therapist Ian Kerner.
Sexual rejection is especially unpleasant for women, because it seems unnatural to them that a man does not want sex, but Kerner points out that occasional differences in sexual desire are completely normal.
“You can't just grab a man and expect him to be warm. Men often need a gradual transition from normal to sexual mood, which requires mental warm-up and foreplay".
For this reason, Kerner advises members of the fairer sex not to react impulsively if they want sex, but to change their approach, kiss their partner and subtly remind him of some special moment from the past.
