A recent survey of 3.000 Britons found that couples fight as many as four times a day in December, which is three times more than the rest of the year.
Although December is a month of celebration and joy, it seems to be full of stress for couples, and as the most common causes of quarrels, the participants of the survey cited financial problems, family visits, not doing household chores, agreements on buying gifts, as well as rarely making love due to exhaustion.
For this reason, about 12 percent of couples say that they spend almost the entire time of the holiday arguing, and even 23 percent of them at that time think about whether their relationship makes sense at all and whether it is better to break up.
A third claims that they would prefer to be free for the holidays so that they could enjoy the many parties unhindered and not have to buy presents.
