The evening dedicated to the work of the recently deceased Radomir Konstantinović was held in the Karver bookstore.
"Radomir Konstantinović was a great sage and philosopher, an autochthonous Serb and a gentleman. However, Serbia is not aware of his greatness, which is confirmed by the fact that Serbia did not react to his death.
Not even the agency news about his death was published," said playwright Veljko Radović. According to Radović, his "Philosophy of the palanquin" surpassed all his previous work, but it was not understood in Serbia.
"He was generous and a man without vanity"
"I'm not really sure about the fate of the book "Philosophy of the palanquin", on the one hand it is alive and present as evidenced by this evening and the presence of a large number of people, and on the other hand Serbia will not accept it", said Radović, who recalled in the segments and his friendly relationship with Konstantinović.
"I met him back in 1972. He was generous and a man without vanity. He was a silent man, he didn't believe much in words," Radović remembers.
