The Budva police filed criminal charges against the secretary of the Secretariat for Urbanism and Planning Zlatko Dragović and the chief urban planner Slavica Kovač, due to the suspicion that they abused their official position, "Vijesti" has learned from the Police Directorate.
The police believe that Dragović, as head of that secretariat, gave consent to Russian citizens Antonina Novarjova and Viktor Goljukov to build a 605-square-meter building in Petrovac, even though the DUP states that a 459-square-meter building can be built on that site.
"Vijesti" was told by the police that the chief urban planner in the Budva Secretariat, Slavica Kovač, is suspected of having issued the urban planning and technical approval and thereby helped Dragović to issue the approval for the construction of that building.
By the way, the application was submitted after the complaint of two families from Petrovac that the building of Russian citizens "obscured their view".
The criminal complaint against Dragović and Kovača was submitted to the Basic State Prosecutor in Kotor.
