Furtula set a Montenegrin record in the discus throw

Danijel Furtula, an athlete from the Tara club in Mojkovac, set a new Montenegrin senior record in the discus throw.

The European junior vice-champion threw the discus 60,19 meters at the throwers' meeting in Sremska Mitrovka.

Furtula was also the owner of the previous record, and he improved it by 4,42 meters.

On July 24 in Tallinn, in the final of the European Championship, he threw the discus 63,54 meters and set a new junior record in Montenegro.
