The police filed a criminal complaint against VB (49) from Tivat, due to the well-founded suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosive substances and the criminal offense of illegal trade.
"On January 19.01.2018, 117, as part of the activities carried out as part of the "Boka" operational headquarters, officers of the Police Administration conducted searches at several locations in the area of Tivat. During the search of the apartment and other premises used by VB, two pistols were found and confiscated and 1.200 pieces of ammunition and about XNUMX pieces of different types of glasses worth tens of thousands of euros, for which the VB did not have documentation on the origin. Based on the conducted expert reports and an overview of the entire documentation that was collected in connection with the previously described activities, the state prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor ordered that a criminal complaint be filed against VB in the regular procedure due to the existence of reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosive substances and the criminal offense of illegal trade," the Police Directorate announced.
It is added that the officers of OB Tivat submitted a criminal complaint against VB to the state prosecutor in the ODT in Kotor
A proposal for the permanent confiscation of firearms for which the VB possessed weapons certificates was also submitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Tivat Branch for Administrative Internal Affairs.
