Velimir Lučić from the village of Kalušići (75), died on Tuesday around 16 pm on the way to the Clinical Center in Podorica from injuries he sustained two hours earlier when the tractor he was driving overturned on him.
The accident happened near Lučić's house on the road where mining trucks transport coal to the Thermal Power Plant.
Lucic was found unconscious under a tractor on the property by neighbors who, together with his relatives, pulled him out and transported him to the Pljeval hospital.
After receiving medical help at the Pljeval hospital, Lučić was immediately sent to the Clinical Center, but he succumbed to his injuries at Kolašin's.
It is not yet known how the accident happened, and the relatives assume that Lucic fell out of the tractor through the rear windshield, when he was crossing the embankment on the side of the road.
The investigation was carried out by the investigative judge of the Pljeval court, Branko Pejović.
