After recently managing to avoid arrest in Brazil, Nišlija Dragan Ilić (41), otherwise the godfather of Sreten Jocić aka Joca Amsterdam, is currently staying in the Montenegrin capital of tourism.
The man, who for years has been considered one of the biggest Serbian drug lords in South America, was sitting in the garden of the popular Budva beach bar "Richardova Glava" in the company of several friends from Montenegro and abroad yesterday afternoon.
Ilić, as could be seen, was not accompanied by bodyguards, and moved completely freely down the concrete paths of this beach and made frequent phone calls, without fear or trying to hide from anyone.
In fact, Ilić is free in Montenegro, because there is no active warrant in the Interpol system, on the basis of which he could be arrested, the Montenegrin police confirmed to "News".
The interlocutor from the top of the Police Administration said that this service has information about his stay in Budva, but that there is no basis for his arrest.
Just ten days ago, the Serbian and Brazilian media filled the newspaper columns with descriptions of the police operation "Niva", in which 30 members of the international criminal group of cocaine smugglers organized by Goran Nešić, known as Ciga, were arrested, which smuggled more than a ton of narcotics to the European continent.
Allegedly, Ilić was also supposed to be arrested at that time, but he managed to elude the Brazilian police.
