Still unknown hooligans took advantage of Bat's absence from the property, because he was in Sutomor all day due to his obligations, and in the morning hours, they entered the fenced property under the olive and vegetable plantation.
"A friend called me and asked what happened to my caravan on the property. He said she was upset. I came immediately and had a lot to see - the caravan was completely destroyed, young olive seedlings were cut down to the ground and scattered around the property, 30 cabbage stalks were pulled out and broken, tomato binding tape along its entire length of almost a thousand meters was stretched on the olive groves all around, and the irrigation hoses were torn out. Unbelievable," Karađuzović said.
"Well, what did I do to deserve it? God is my witness that I didn't do anything to harm anyone, and I spent every free moment here and 'raised' the estate in sweat".
Karađuzović immediately reported the damage to the police. He said that two inspectors went to the scene and made a report, but so far there is no information on whether the vandals were found.
Stating that he suspects that the perpetrators are minors from neighboring settlements, Karađuzović adds that the neighbors told him that they had been hearing banging noises from the property for hours, but that they thought that the craftsmen were removing his clothes, because he was doing something on the border.
It is not the first time that the Karađuzović estate has been targeted by hooligans.
"Eight years ago, as reported by Vijesti, they took out 18 seven- to eight-year-old olive roots, and a year later another 19 seedlings. In the meantime, they raided a few more times, but they haven't done this kind of damage yet. When I first saw the destroyed olive trees, I was on the verge of tears. Now all this just irritates me. "Parents should look at what their children are doing and teach them that it is not nice to destroy other people's efforts," said Karađuzović.
