The play "Maćado" based on the text by Goran Ćetković and directed by Slobodan Milatović, will be premiered on Saturday, May 7, at the Danilovgrad Cultural Center, at 21 p.m.
On the occasion of the premiere, within the VI International Book Fair, a press conference was held, where the author and director spoke, as well as Nina Redžepagić, executive producer, director of the Danilovgrad Cultural Center Ranko Vuković, and actors Srđan Grahovac and Dušan Kovačević. Slavko Kalezić also plays in the play.
Vuković expressed his honor that they participated in such a project.
"The idea of the people gathered around this project to produce a play in several smaller municipalities was immediately recognized as extraordinary and accepted by us in Danilovgrad. The very preparation of the play and its premiere in Danilovgrad will help an institution such as the Culture Center to search for its identity as successfully as possible. , and we are extremely grateful to the team that revealed a lot about the steps we will follow in the coming period," said Vuković.
Goran Ćetković explained that the play "Maćado" is a humorous story about the friendship of two thirty-year-olds.
Director Slobodan Milatović pointed out that this play is something new in terms of theme, acting, and genre.
"We are playing a comedy, and we are trying to deal with Beckett's poetics. We bring everything to the point of absurdity, with incredible ease".
"This is not a story of futility, but of hope"
Goran Ćetković explained that the play "Maćado" in the subtitle "Sustainable Development Project" is a humorous story about the friendship of two thirty-year-olds who try to camouflage their laziness in every possible way.

"Those who, for the umpteenth time, live a new idea that will bring them well-being. They do not feel that they are dealing with Sisyphus' work, because their experience is not that they return to the beginning with a burden that they did not carry to the goal, but believing in their potential, they comfortably and actively they expect the next idea - project to come true.
With them, the procedure is simple. The moment their business goal becomes meaningless in time, it is not worth their excessive suffering and nervousness, because soon a new idea, with new hope and optimism, becomes at the same time their new preoccupation in which they unreservedly believe.
"Maćado" (Domaća) is not a story about futility, but on the contrary - about hope," said Ćetković.
The executive producer of the play, Nina Redžepagić, pointed out that the story of the play is a story about friendship, and that the play is a synergy of great enthusiasm and work.
