The police detained 2 people from Cetinje in the investigation of cocaine smuggling, the search of the package is pending

Narcotics inspectors from Podgorica and Cetinje detained Radislav Marković and his son from Cetinje in connection with an investigation into organized cocaine smuggling.

The police searched their family home in Cetinje, where no drugs were found. Inspectors for organized crime and members of the Special Unit also blocked the hangar in Bajice near Cetinje around 15 p.m., but they did not start the search until midnight last night...

"Vijesti" was told by the police that this was an action that started a few months ago and was carried out in cooperation with the German police.

The Markovics were in the Cetinje police building until late last night, from where they were supposed to be transported to the Podgorica Regional Unit during the night. Until the conclusion of "Vijesti", they had not been officially ordered into police custody.

Hangar sealed

The half-empty hangar under the slab, surrounded by high walls, which covers an area of ​​about 300 square meters, was under police protection last night. While it was guarded outside by masked and armed members of the Special Unit, narcotics inspectors were inside filming the packages they found in the hall.

However, as "Vijesti" unofficially learns, the special prosecutor for organized crime from Đurđina, Nina Ivanović, last night ordered the warehouse to be sealed, but did not give the green light for the packages to be opened on the spot and for the search to begin immediately.

On Monday around 22 pm, a large truck (PG-MN311) was brought in front of the warehouse, which was recently rented to the Marković family, which was parked right in front of the entrance of the one-story building and was being prepared for loading.

Several manual workers then entered the hall, which led the "Vijesti" reporters to the assumption that the found packages with suspicious goods should have been loaded into that truck. However, ten minutes later the truck drove away, accompanied by a police jeep, and the workers immediately left the hangar and went down the narrow village street.

The interlocutor of "Vijesti" said around midnight that the search of suspicious packages has been postponed until today, when it will be known whether drugs are hidden in them.

None of the police officials or interlocutors from the prosecutor's office were ready to talk about this action last night because it is still ongoing.
