The Belgrade police arrested three men from Zrenjanin and Podgorica for unauthorized production and sale of drugs and confiscated 9 kilograms of marijuana, reported the Ministry of Interior of Serbia.

"Milovan Vuković (34), Nenad Mišić (33) from Zrenjanin and Milivoje Pejović (49) from Podgorica were arrested, while the organizer of the criminal group Slađan Micić (34) from Zrenjanin is being intensively searched for," the police announced.

The police arrested them in Stajićeva, in the parking lot of a restaurant, while handing over drugs. The drugs were hidden in the gas tank of the car.

The arrested persons procured drugs in Montenegro in quantities of 30 to 50 kilograms. They transported it from Montenegro to Zrenjanin, from where they sold it to street dealers from Novi Sad, Subotica, Bačka Palanka and Pancevo.

All suspects have been detained by the police, after which they will be brought before the on-duty investigative judge of the High Court in Zrenjanin.
