Fire on the van of Kotor resident Željko Bojanić

For unknown reasons, a fire broke out on a Mercedes van registered to the "Duomo" villa hotel owned by Željko Bojanić from Kotor.

The van was parked in front of the building where Bojanić lives on the coastal road near the summer pool.

The commander of the Fire Department, Eduard Kovačić, said that they received a report about the fire at four hours and 27 minutes in the morning from the Kotor police. Kovačić said that the intervention was short-lived, and that the left rear wheel, rim, varnish and part of the upholstery were damaged.

The scene of the fire and the car were under police protection for part of the morning, and the van was later removed.

Bojanić is known to the media when he was wounded last year in the main town square when his friend Kotor businessman Dragan Dudić aka Fric, with whom he was sitting in his bar "Moka", was killed.

The police did not want to give more details because of the ongoing investigation.
