The peer fight that took place on Friday morning in the yard of the "Radojica Perović" elementary school was almost fatal for the ninth-grade MR student (14), who was unconscious a few hours after the incident due to a concussion.
The boy was pushed in the chest by his classmate and first neighbor MG (14) during a harmless play in the school yard, after which MR fell and hit his head violently on the concrete.
At first, the student was fine, so he was accompanied by the teacher on duty for an interview with the school principal, but in the afternoon, when he came home, he got sick. Due to severe pain in the neck and fainting, the boy's parents took the boy to the Emergency Block of the Clinical Center, where he lost consciousness. During the filming, the doctors determined that he had a severe concussion, which is why he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit that night. The injured boy was discharged from the hospital yesterday morning, and the doctors recommended that he rest for the next few days.

The principal of Radojica Perović Elementary School, Mira Bošković, confirmed to "Vijesta" that the incident happened on Friday, but that in the first hours it did not look like the MR student would be seriously injured.
"They were not in kindergarten, but were playing in the school yard. During the game, a fight broke out around the ball, and the two of them got into a fight, which is why they came to my place to talk. MR was conscious and spoke clearly about everything, and then his friend accompanied him home. In the afternoon, they informed us that he got sick and was in the hospital with a concussion. Believe me, that news shocked us, because it all looked like a harmless child's prank," said Bošković.
She stated that the parents of the injured boy as well as the MG student were very fair during the conversation with her and the class teacher. MG's parents were also at the hospital where they were interested in the recovery of the injured student.
The director of the school also informed the Minister of Education Slavoljub Stijepović about the incident.
"We are sorry for everything that happened, especially since both boys are exemplary and peaceful students. Over the weekend, we were interested in MR's recovery, but on Friday afternoon we also gave a statement to the police, who launched an investigation into this incident. Student MG was in juvenile detention for two days, and his parents told us that he is very depressed and shocked because of everything that happened, so he will only come to school on Wednesday," said the director, who announced that on Wednesday there will be a session of the teachers' council, where the punishment will be pronounced.
The director of the school also informed the Minister of Education Slavoljub Stijepović about the incident.
"I hope that there won't be any more incidents like this in our school, and I also hope that there won't be similar cases in any other school in Montenegro," said Bošković.
