Ivan Šćepanović (38) from Budva, known as Šćepo, was killed by a burst, most likely from an automatic weapon, in Sacekusa, in front of the building where he lived with his parents, in Budva's Adokovo settlement.
The cruel liquidation took place yesterday around 18.35:940, in Veljka Vlahovića Street, at the moment when the murdered man was sitting behind the wheel of a rented rental car "Toyota Corolla" (BD AK XNUMX), parked under a canopy.
Šćepanović, who is the brother of the aunt of the controversial Budva resident Ivan Delić, called his mother on the phone a little earlier and asked her to prepare dinner for him, because he was on his way home. When he drove the "Toyota" to the very entrance of the building, two people approached him from behind.
A man with a gun in his hand, as suspected, approached from the left side and shot him, while another person armed with an automatic rifle fired at Šćepanović through the windshield. His mangled body fell onto the steering wheel of the vehicle, with the mobile phone still in his hand.
"The first shot was heard, followed immediately by a woman's scream, which came from the apartment on the second floor of the building. Then several more projectiles were fired, and the screams grew louder and broke the gloomy silence that arose after the last sound of the murderous burst disappeared," Šćepanović's neighbor told "Vijesta".
Cameras captured two armed men without masks
"I called him, he didn't answer me! I knew there was something!", one of them kept repeating, while Šćepanović's mother was still standing on the balcony of the apartment and wailing for her murdered son.
Last night, the police blocked off the entire neighborhood until late at night, and the team of forensics was trying to find tangible clues from the scene of the murder.
His friends gathered around Ivan's father and watched what was happening in shock.

In Kraljevo in 1998, Ivan was the target of a failed execution
Ivan Šćepanović was known in Budva for his friendly, family and business ties with several influential residents of that city. His name first appeared in the Montenegrin media after a mass fight, which took place this summer in the popular discotheque "Top Hill", during the performance of the famous Croatian group "Kolonija".
Vladimir Vićentijević (36) from Belgrade, aka Vlado Ožiljak, who came to the Montenegrin coast with Marko Mišković, the son of Miroslav Mišković, owner of the "Delta" corporation, was allegedly beaten.
According to the testimony of Vicentijević's friend, whose testimony was published by the Belgrade-based "Blic", the now deceased Šćepanović allegedly ordered the Belgrade native to leave the discotheque, while a dozen young men immediately jumped on him and started beating him indiscriminately. On the same night, Vićentijević was allegedly transferred by helicopter to the Belgrade Military Medical Center, and the case was covered up.
Šćepanović mostly stayed in Budva, where his parents lived, while he often traveled and stayed in his hometown in Kraljevo, where in February 1998 he was the target of a failed execution.
According to Serbian media, his murder at the time, as well as three others in that city, was planned as a sign of revenge for the liquidation of the Kraljevo businessman Mirko Rubežić. Šćepanović was never officially linked to the murder of Rubežić, but he was connected to extortion in that city, for which he was convicted.
In Montenegro, according to unofficial information, he had no criminal record. However, several construction plots in Perazića Dol are named after him, but previously several "Vijesti" sources claimed that their real owners are the two most influential politicians from Budva and their fellow citizen of the younger generation, from the underground, extremely well known to the general public.
That land was previously owned by the former mayor of Belgrade, Aleksandar Bakočević.
Burning golf 3 and weapons
That it was a professionally executed murder could be concluded only after an hour, when a burnt "Golf 3" was found on the excavated construction site above the Dubovica settlement, in which, as is suspected, the murderer tried to destroy the traces.
The police believe that the murder was planned, the victim typed and followed, as indicated by the way in which Šćepanović was killed. Later, it is suspected that the killer and his helpers drove a "golf" and macadam to the construction site on the hill, changed their clothes, which they left in the vehicle together with an automatic weapon, and then poured gasoline on it and set it on fire.
It is assumed that another car was waiting for the perpetrators at that place, in which they escaped.
The investigating judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica, Radomir Ivanović, who conducted the investigation last night, confirmed to "Vijesta" that a car was found on fire in the Dubovica settlement.
"In it was an automatic rifle suspected to have been used in the murder," the judge said.
