Saxophonist Viktor Tot held a concert last night on the terrace of the Castello fortress, thus marking the tenth day of the Petrovac Jazz Festival.
Viktor belongs to the younger generation of the contemporary Hungarian jazz scene, he has repeatedly won awards for the best jazz musician, and the audience in Petrovac had the opportunity to see why.
Tot started the concert by playing the saxophone from the audience, and after a few bars he went on stage. Great communication on stage with the rest of the band brought a lot of improvisations, and the audience often rewarded them with applause during the composition.
"I am glad that we are in Petrovac tonight. We will play original compositions from our albums. Our music is open, so we don't stick to just one musical direction, so tonight feel free to play and enjoy", Viktor said in his only address during the concert, thanking the Hungarian Embassy in Montenegro for allowing him and the team to come to the Petrovac Jazz Festival. .
An hour and a half of a dynamic concert was not enough for the audience, so those present with chants and strong applause brought the Hungarian musician back for an encore. The concert of the Viktor Tot Trio was accompanied by the Ambassador of Hungary, Kristijan Poša, as well as the Consul of Croatia, Marijan Klasić.
Tonight, the audience on the Castella terrace as part of the Petrovac Jazz Festival will have the opportunity to enjoy a concert by the Macedonian band Shikacki Ensemble. The concert is scheduled to start at 21.30:XNUMX p.m., and admission will be free.
