Montenegrin citizen AS was arrested in Novi Pazar on suspicion of sending inappropriate messages to children from that city via Instagram.
The Novi Pazar police state that the suspect sent romantic messages to children aged five, seven and eight over a long period of time.
That is why he is being charged with the criminal offense of illicit sexual activity, writes Tanjug.
In addition, the Serbian police point out that the inspectors located him after his parents reported him.
"The criminal was arrested in an operation that has been going on since June of last year, and with detailed operational work, he was located and arrested this evening in the territory of Novi Pazar", according to the Serbian police.
The suspect was remanded in custody for 48 hours and will be prosecuted with a criminal complaint.
