Rejected appeal: The police officers remain in custody

The Podgorica High Court rejected the appeal against the decision on the detention of police officers Mladen Vujović, Slavko Furtula, Vukoman Maraš, Marko Stojanović and Miloš Bečanović, members of the police intervention unit who are suspected of beating three young men in the center of Podgorica.

Mladen Vujović, Slavko Furtula, Vukoman Maraš, Marko Stojanović and Miloš Bečanović are suspected of beating three young men in front of the "Bajica" bar in the center of Podgorica on Saturday, February 17.

In the video published on the IN4S website uniformed police officers can be seen approaching a group standing in front of a closed bar and starting to beat them.
