In front of the Basic Court, several dozen members of the police came today to support their colleagues who were arrested for beating three people from Podgorica.
Members of the Podgorica Police Intervention Unit, Mladen Vujović, Slavko Furtula, Vukoman Maraš, Marko Stojanović and Miloš Bečanović, who beat three young men in front of the "Bajice" bar in the center of Podgorica, were heard in the Basic Court.
They are accused of committing the crime of abuse to the detriment of three citizens, as well as falsification of official documents.
Milan Radović from the Civic Alliance strongly condemned the pressure on the court.
"I strongly condemn the support that police officers provide to colleagues suspected of abuse and put pressure on the court. They should be identified and prosecuted," Radović said on Twitter.
