Montenegrin Paralympian Filip Radović will participate in the world table tennis championship, which will be held in Celje from October 15 to 21, the Paralympic Committee announced.
It is stated that the World Para Tennis Federation has published a list of qualified participants, including Radović.
It will be his debut at the World Championships.
In Radović's category F 10 at the world championship, the best 16 table tennis players from the world ranking list as of December 31, 2017 will perform, as well as two players who will receive a special wild card.
Radović finished 2017 as eighth in the senior rankings and the second-ranked player in the world in the under-23 category.
He has performed at four European Championships so far, and won bronze medals at the last two, in Denmark's Vejele in 2015 and Laško in 2017.
