The obsession with healthy eating has also been given a professional name.
In the 21st century, there has been an increasing number of people who are careful to eat as healthy as possible, but also those who have become obsessed with that way of life.
Such a condition is professionally called orthorexia, and the vast majority of doctors, nutritionists, and even trainers will agree that completely eliminating certain foods from the diet, with the exception of intolerance to them, is harmful to health.
But, despite that, there are plenty of such people, and the most common ones are foods that contain gluten, meat, dairy products, processed food, and the like.
In other words, orthorexia is the fear of a person eating foods that will not make them healthy.
Although health should be taken care of, no obsession is good.
French nutritionist Sofi Ortega also warns that "clean eating" affects the lack of vitamin B12 in the body, which is found in eggs, dairy products, meat and fish, reports B92.
