A wave of cold weather has swept over Kazakhstan.
At one point, the temperature dropped to -42 degrees Celsius, and from January 21, the impression of coldness was further enhanced by strong wind and snow storms.
In Astana on Friday, the temperature dropped to a normal level, the sun also shone, which allowed citizens to leave their homes.
The disturbing videos, which appeared on social networks, also show the bodies of frozen people who did not get shelter from the cold in time, or had nowhere to go.

Kazakhstan has not remembered such a cold winter for a full decade, and at one point the mercury approached the record temperature of -51,6 degrees Celsius, which was measured in 1893.
