A new study claims that you should make love at least once a week for sex to have a beneficial effect on health, claims a study from the University of California, San Francisco.
Scientists followed the sexual life of 129 women and the respondents provided data on satisfaction with their relationship, as well as conflicts, support they have from their partners and intimacy.
When they compared blood tests, it turned out that those who had sex at least once a week had significantly longer body measurements, which are considered responsible for aging.
Over the years, body gauges in our cells decay and shorten as a result of aging, diet, drinking alcohol, scientists say.
Regular sex can slow down aging and lengthen body measurements, thus keeping cells healthy. This small study, of course, requires additional research, Nedeljnik reports.
