The criminal police arrested five and detained 29 people during searches in Bijelo Polje, Podgorica and Danilovgrad at 33 locations.
According to the unofficial information of Vijesta from the Police Directorate in Podgorica, Nikola Jovanović was deprived of his liberty for the illegal possession of weapons and explosive substances, and in Bijelo Polje, Dražen Đurđević, for the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
As reported by the Police Administration, a large amount of weapons, ammunition, drugs, vehicles and means of communication were confiscated.
During the searches in the area of Bijelo Polje, which were carried out in coordination with the criminal police, officers of the CB Bijelo Polje, the Anti-Drug Department and the Special Police Unit found and confiscated:
- three passenger motor vehicles;
- motorcycle;
- license plates that are suspected of being forged;
- pistol;
- 216 pieces of ammunition of various calibers;
- two pistol barrels;
- bulletproof vest;
- two bayonets;
- the so-called spray tear gas;
- six rifle cartridges;
- sms card;
- 87 grams of marijuana;
- 6,7 grams of a white substance suspected to be the narcotic drug cocaine.
Searches in the area of Podgorica and Danilovgrad, which were carried out in coordination with the criminal police by the officers of CB Podgorica with the associated Danilovgrad Security Department, found and confiscated:
- "CZ" brand hunting rifle;
- four electric detonator capsules;
- 2.778 pieces of ammunition cal.7,62mm for an automatic rifle;
- 250 pieces of pistol ammunition cal.9mm;
- 50 pieces of "S&W" ammunition;
- two encrypted mobile phones of the "BlackBerry" brand,
- five mobile phones;
- multiple SIM cards;
- two computers;
- two "Mercedes" and "Nissan Juke" vehicles.
According to the information of "Vijesti" Television, searches were carried out at Milić Šaković, Marko Šaković, Miloš Šaković, Nikola Jovanović, Sava Lopičić, Miloš Pavićević.
"Vijesti" was unofficially told that Safet Kolić was also arrested in Bijelo Polje this morning.
He denied that information.
Kolić told "Vijesta" that he was not arrested, but that his house was only searched and he received a summons for questioning.
"Criminal processing is being carried out on the detained persons. All further activities against the detained persons will be undertaken in consultation with the competent prosecutors", announced the Police Administration.

Searches in Podgorica and Bijelo Polje began at 6 a.m.
"Officials of the Police Directorate, in the activities they carry out in the fight against organized crime and which are coordinated by the Criminal Police Sector, have, in eight actions carried out since the beginning of October, including today's action, carried out searches at 137 locations in the south and north and in the central region, and at locations used by OKG members, persons of security interest and persons close to them. A large number of persons were detained. Firearms and ammunition, cold weapons, expensive cars, drugs, means of communication, contracts and other documents, money and other things were seized. . Several persons were deprived of their liberty due to criminal offenses related to peddling, illegal possession of weapons and abuse of narcotic drugs. Everything that was seized will be examined at the Forensic Center in order to determine the origin or possible connection with the crimes committed. Police activities on detection, prevention and suppression of organized crime continue," the police announced.
